Skilling Solutions Queensland offers the following services:

• Smart Skilling Information gives you access to current, reliable training and career information on sustainable opportunities at the local level, and maps out for you the qualifications* required for these jobs.

• Smart Skills Fast Track puts you in touch with a network of registered training organisations that can assess your current level of skills as part of a recognition of prior learning process.

• Smart Training Guide helps you find quality registered training organisations who can help you develop your own individual training plan.

• Smart Training Choice provides you with information on the training services offered by local, public and private registered training organisations to help you make the best choice for your learning and skilling needs.

• NEW SERVICE - Apprenticeship Brokerage service As part of the Queensland Skills Plan the states's Skilling Solutions Queensland centres will provide face-to-face referrals to job network providers who specialise in assisting individuals to gain employment. These providers will actively interact with employers to encourage apprenticeship uptakes.

Skilling Solutions Queensland will refer any eligible customers seeking an apprenticeship to Sarina Russo Job Access centres.

• NEW SERVICE - Mature Aged Training Subsidy Through Skilling Solutions Queensland, low skilled workers aged 45 years or older may qualify for a new subsidy to offset the costs of approved vocational training from selected TAFE institutes. This subsidy is available in the following locations, Brisbane South, Townsville, and Ayr in industry areas listed: Aged Care, Child Care, Engineering, Transport and Distribution, Hospitality, Retail and Agriculture. (Eligibility criteria applies).
