The Coomera/Oxenford area is one of the fastest growing regions in one of Australia's fastest growing cities, the Gold Coast.  Almost all of the growth predicted to take place on the Gold Coast over the next decade will be in this corridor. Extensive planning has been carried out to make sure this growth takes place in an orderly, disciplined way. However, the unparalleled growth has created an immediate demand for a focal point for young people and young families of the area who have already made Coomera/ Oxenford their home.

Social support in our area is needed to make sure that young people and their families are able to find assistance  that is non judgemental and non discriminatory.  The Gold Coast City Council's Northern Gold Coast Social Infrastructure Plan is the basis upon which our centre focuses not just on youth but families.  The Oxenford & Coomera Community Youth Centre Inc is proud to partner with the Northern Gold Coast Communities for Children program, the Rotary Club of Coomera Valley, Gold Coast City Council and the Nucrush Good Neighbourhood Program.  Together we will provide important social infrastructure to help build community and purpose in this busy suburban centre .

Our centre first opened its doors on the 27th of November, 2004, and is located at 25 Oxenford-Tamborine Road, Oxenford, in Queensland.  We have grown to become a vital part of the Northern Gold Coast's social infrastructure facilitating programs for over 4000 people a month.
